Foodpanda partners with PLDT Enterprise to provide connectivity solutions to riders

This collaboration birthed the SMART Ka-Panda Postpaid plan, which is a foodpanda exclusive mobile bundle that provides riders with the mobility to make use of their delivery app, Roadrunner, as well as other navigational applications.

Foodpanda, a mobile food delivery marketplace, joins forces with PLDT Enterprise to provide connectivity solutions to ease their riders’ daily operations.

This collaboration birthed the SMART Ka-Panda Postpaid plan, which is a foodpanda exclusive mobile bundle that provides riders with the mobility to make use of their delivery app, Roadrunner, as well as other navigational applications.

The said program was created to bridge the gap between the riders and customers, which according to Jovy Hernandez, the ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head of PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups, was the main objective of this partnership all along. He says, “We know that foodpanda  always wants to go the extra mile to make the experience of their customers more memorable. With this in mind, we’ve partnered with them to ensure that drivers be provided with the means to ensure service quality as part of the customer experience. Now, bringing good food into the everyday is made easier and more accessible.”

This program is also expected to supplement the different functions that a foodpanda rider is expected to fulfill on a daily basis.

“As our riders’ Community Leader, I always seek what is best for our riders. We enter partnerships with the anticipation of bringing value to the foodpanda riders community, therefore this collaboration with SMART & PLDT is expected to provide great help and assistance to our riders who make deliveries for a living,” says Jao Manahan, the Community & Communications Manager of foodpanda.

With this partnership, foodpanda aims to continue elevating the benefits they are providing to their riders.

“Moving forward, this partnership is expected to grow and prosper into new opportunities. More projects and campaigns are in the pipeline for this collaboration in an effort to provide new and exciting benefits for our riders. As such, this collaboration only marks the start of what we can do alongside SMART and PLDT, which makes us believe that opportunities are indeed endless when you have formidable allies on your side,” Manahan added.
