Consumer electronics assembler LG Electronics Philippines introduced an assortment of Wi-Fi enabled smart appliances that are powered by its proprietary SmartThinQ Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, an application which can control all of your electronics and home appliances anytime, anywhere with just a touch of a button.
These new appliances have been engineered with the future in mind. With the app, home appliances can communicate with each other, making them easy to manage and smarter by remembering usage habits to better anticipate users’ needs.
“LG ThinQ uses knowledge drawn from data analytics and machine learning algorithms to understand the user’s patterns and preferences,” said Inkwun Heo, managing director at LG Electronics Philippines. “As it adapts and learns from the user’s behavior, LG ThinQ products will ultimately evolve to anticipate the user’s needs and deliver heightened performance.”
To show how these smart appliances work, LG commissioned new brand ambassadors to relay how these devices seamlessly blend with everyday life. Steph Zubiri-Crespi, a long time LG loyalist, boasts how the Twin Wash saves her precious time by being able to do two loads simultaneously. She recounted an instance where the “pause” and “add item” function was a life saver.
Cristalle Belo, on the other hand, likes the LG Instaview Door-in-Door refrigerator. Users of this appliance can illuminate the contents inside without opening the door, and reduce cold air loss to help keep fresher longer by simply knocking twice on its sleek glass panel. It has storage options such as the Extra Space compartment for small or loose items, and a retractable shelf for taller and oddly-shaped items.
Benjamin Alvez, who was used to do everything all by himself, laundry included back when he was still living in Guam, yearns about using the LG Black Turbo Wash 3D, while Marco Gumabao raves about the LG Black Two Door Top Freezer he’s been using as it offers a blend of timeless style with the latest innovations, maximum storage space, advanced digital temperature controls, and exclusive LG technology.
