NetFoundry adds extra endpoints to allow easier cloud connectivity

The latest upgrade to the NetFoundry product hugely extends the range of devices that can be connected without the complexity of MPLS, VPN, circuits or other hardware.

NetFoundry, the leader of Application-Specific Networking, announced that its cloud-native software solution, built specifically to connect any enterprise application, anywhere at any time, can now be deployed on virtually any device using APIs. An upgrade to the NetFoundry product means that it will now work on Android, IoT Gateways, as well as containers (such as a Docker pod or sidecar) as well as a plug-in for container network interfaces (CNIs). This enables businesses to deploy a Universal Service Meshs that connects cloud-native deployments to traditional virtual machine-based deployments as well as edge and IoT making Mesh Application Services Architecture (MASA as defined by Gartner) simple for all businesses.

NetFoundry uniquely makes it possible for enterprises to instantly spin up highly secure, highly performing, application-specific global networks at scale using its web-based orchestration tools and APIs. All that is needed is an Internet connection.

The latest upgrade to the NetFoundry product hugely extends the range of devices that can be connected without the complexity of MPLS, VPN, circuits or other hardware.

“Our recent innovations bring a wealth of extra end points so we can connect anything, whether it’s cloud-native, IoT, enterprise, mobile phone or laptop, to make it a highly ubiquitous overlay for any organisation,” said Galeal Zino, NetFoundry CEO. “This is in addition to all the benefits we already offer so that businesses can embrace their digital transformation and remove the traditional blockers to innovation that networks and security cause. Now anyone can innovate regardless of if they sit in IT, DevOps or the Operational Technology side of the business”.
