Amid the increased demand in micro data centers in the Philippines, Vertiv today announced the appointment of Ardent Networks Inc. as the authorized distributor of its portfolio of converged infrastructure solutions. This focused partnership will allow more customers to purchase Vertiv’s full range of micro data center solutions, as well as tap into its pre- and post-sales services.
Ardent Networks has been a valued distributor of Vertiv for over 10 years. A member of the LAMCO Group of Companies, Ardent Networks configures, supplies and delivers critical infrastructure equipment to customers across a diverse market in the country.
Under this partnership, Ardent Networks will now be the sole distributor of Vertiv micro data center solutions, such as the SmartCabinet and SmartRow Plus in the Philippines.
“With the increased adoption of IoT and edge computing, we are seeing a spike in demand for micro data centers that are quick to deploy and easy to build,” said Daniel Sim, senior director for Channel business in Asia at Vertiv. “Having Ardent Networks as our distributor will allow us to quickly deploy a SmartRow, for example, in as fast as 14 days, enabling our customers to get ahead and stay ahead of their business.”
Vertiv will also tap into Ardent Networks’ network of resellers and partners across the country to reach more customers.
“I am extremely excited on behalf of Ardent Networks. We have been partners with Vertiv for over 10 years and I believe that through our relationship we will be able to bring value and bring the SmartCabinet, and SmartRow into the forefront in the Philippine computer market,” said Sharlene G. Yu, executive vice president and general manager of Ardent Networks.
“Vertiv is pleased to appoint Ardent Networks as our authorized distributor of converged solutions in the Philippines. This will expand their current range of portfolio of micro small UPS (uninterruptible power supply), racks, and PDUs (power distribution units) to embrace our converged solution as part of their offerings to their resellers and partners,” said Sim.
