NetFoundry announced its partnership with Cloud Comrade, Singapore’s Cloud Consulting experts to bring cloud computing that is beyond next generation to Singapore and Southeast Asia. The partnership enables businesses to become cloud-native and deliver maximum business value and security from their applications to successfully embrace, migrate and execute cloud solutions throughout Southeast Asia.

As businesses experience the next digital transformation, they face delays, budget overruns, unnecessary complexity, and scope creep due to deficiencies of connectivity and app security.

As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Cloud Comrade addresses these problems from end to end, including business strategy, process design, deployment and management. The Cloud Comrade solution now includes NetFoundry’s capability to provide private and direct overlay networks over the internet which are simple and quick to deploy, highly secure and performant and requires no propriety hardware. All of this, done quickly, efficiently, and securely via their partnership with AWS.

When migrating applications to the cloud, enterprises receive access to an array of highly flexible, scalable tools and services, including integrated security, application customization, giving DevOps teams the ability to trial new tactics without heavily investing in the implementation. The combination of Cloud Comrade and NetFoundry pairs a leader in the design and delivery of cloud services with the leader in app-specific, connectivity-as-code. This enables Cloud Comrade’s existing and future customers to benefit from being able to instantly spin up software-only overlay connectivity on existing Internet access which is cloud-native, highly secure, and meets enterprise performance requirements by optimizing traffic through the NetFoundry fabric.

“Cloud Comrade immediately saw that changing application paradigm was a great opportunity to further develop their cloud services, using NetFoundry, which are compatible to the cloud journeys their customers are taking while enabling these businesses to be highly secure and deliver the enterprise performance their apps require. Together we are bridging a gap in connectivity, security and technology across Singapore & Southeast Asia,” said Dipesh Ranjan, head of Asia Pacific at NetFoundry

“As we are rapidly expanding our presence in other South East Asian countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, we see network access to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP and Azure one of the last hurdles to rapid cloud adoption. The partnership with NetFoundry will help us to remove many of those barriers and provide our customers with better connectivity options to the cloud to ensure their mission-critical applications, like SAP, are constantly reachable and give our customers better end-user experience.” Andy Waroma, co-founder and co-managing director, Cloud Comrade.
