Xiaomi launched in the Philippines the Redmi Note 7, the latest addition to the Redmi Note lineup which will be available in both online and offline stores on March 27 this year.
The Redmi Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC processor which clocked at a maximum speed of up to 2.2GHz, ensuring better peak performance when playing games and processing data. The handset is also equipped with up to 4GB high-speed RAM, and provides 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB.
The device is energized by a 4,000mAh battery that can be recharged via the USB Type-C port, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 for shorter charging times. The handset also has an IR blaster that is capable of controlling home appliances such as televisions and air conditioners. Apart from these, the Redmi Note 7 is also equipped with Smart PA audio for louder and higher-quality sound.
The Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3-inch Full High Definition (FHD) 19.5:9 Dot Drop display with a resolution of 2380 x 1080 pixels and accurate colors (84% NTSC color gamut) for a fine visual experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, making it vulnerable to damage from drops.
On the back, the mobile device is equipped with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 backside illuminated CMOS sensor with 48-million physical pixels. When taking pictures, the sensor uses Samsung’s Tetracell technology to increase light sensitivity and makes the resulting 12MP image much brighter and clearer, even in low-light conditions.
The Redmi Note 7 camera also offers the latest AI features including the night mode photography that was introduced along with Xiaomi’s flagship Mi MIX 3, as well as AI scene detection, AI beautify and AI portraits, allowing users to create photos with ease. Available in Neptune Blue, Space Black, and Nebula Red, the Redmi Note 7 will retail at Php7,990 for the 3GB+32GB version, Php9,990 for 4GB+64GB, and Php11,490 for 4GB+128GB. The first 100 customers who will purchase the handset at Lazada will get Mi in-ear basic earphones and t-shirts. The device will also be available at Mi authorized stores.
