Suzuki unveils updated Ertiga

The all-new Suzuki Ertiga is built on the new generation platform, HEARTECT, which made the vehicle’s body six-kilogram lighter in weight despite its 130mm longer and 40mm wider overall dimensions.

Suzuki Philippines unveiled the upgraded version of its best-selling MPV vehicle, the all-new seven-seater Suzuki Ertiga, which is equipped with latest technological innovations for an enhanced driving experience.

The all-new Suzuki Ertiga is built on the new generation platform, HEARTECT, which made the vehicle’s body six-kilogram lighter in weight despite its 130mm longer and 40mm wider overall dimensions. This architecture contributes to lower fuel consumption and higher driving performance while reducing noise and vibration. Under the hood is the new 1.5-liter K-series four-cylinder petrol engine which powers the MPV vehicle.

On the exterior, the all-new Ertiga sports strength and elegance in a compact body. It comes with taller nose and front grille as well as other exterior features such as headlamp, electric foldable side mirror, LED rear combination lamp, and a 15-inch alloy wheel.

Inside, the seven-seater Ertiga is equipped with seats that can be flexibly arranged to suit the number of passengers, and an expanded luggage space. Its D-shaped steering wheel makes it easier to enter and exit the driver seat while its audio system has a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen that can play multimedia files for better entertainment.

Other interior amenities the vehicle offers include cupholders, banknote/coin holder, walk-in mechanism, reclining and tilt down mechanism up to 16 degrees, and sliding second row seat. The front seat center console features a USB port and an AUX input. It also has an accessory power outlet.

The vehicle also comes with security features such as the anti-lock brake system (ABS) that keeps tires from locking up and supports the driver to maintain steering ability in case of emergency braking situation. Besides, the structure of the hood, front windscreen wiper area, front bumpers and other parts is aimed to absorb impact in the event of a collision with a pedestrian. It also has front SRS airbag system to protect the driver and front passenger in case of a collision.

According to Suzuki Philippines managing director and treasurer Norminio Mojica, the all-new Ertiga is equipped with top of the line features, and upgrades made for it will sustain its position as the best-selling vehicle in the country.

The all-new Ertiga is offered in four variants: GL which is priced at Php728,000; GL MT at Php848,000; GL AT at Php888,000; and GLX, Php978,000. It is available in seven colors: pearl glorious brown, metallic magma gray, pearl burgundy red, prime cool black, metallic silky silver, pearl radiant red, and pearl snow white.
