Transcend Information, manufacturer of storage and multimedia products, introduced the StoreJet 25C3S as the latest addition to its StoreJet Luxury series. It has an aluminum alloy housing with a USB 3.1 Gen1 interface for fast transfer rates.
Transcend’s StoreJet 25C3S external hard drive is ultra-slim at just 9.95mm. Housed in an aluminum alloy, the drive weighs in at just 133g. The aluminum casing has been polished, sandblasted, and anodized.
The StoreJet 25C3S is equipped with the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface with the support of UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), providing transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. In addition, the StoreJet 25C3S comes with both a USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable to accommodate desktops and laptops featuring the USB Type-C or USB 3.1 interface. Despite its transfer rates, the StoreJet 25C3S is pre-formatted NTFS file system allowing use right out of the box. It provides up to 2TB of storage capacity.
For additional value, Transcend offers its exclusive data management and data recovery software – Transcend Elite and RecoveRx. Transcend Elite is a data management software that keeps important files organized, protected, and up-to-date. It can even protect files with a powerful 256-bit AES encryption so that data are kept safe from any unauthorized access. RecoveRx is a free data recovery utility that allows you to search deep within a storage device for traces of erased files including digital photos, documents, music, and videos.
