Cisco announced the appointment of Karrie Ilagan as the new Country Manager for Philippines.
Ilagan will be responsible for supporting customers in the domestic market, with a particular focus on enabling digital transformation and propelling cybersecurity capabilities, via an ecosystem of Cisco’s channel partners. She will report to Naveen Menon, president of Southeast Asia at Cisco.
A seasoned executive with more than 23 years’ experience, prior to Cisco, Ilagan held various sales and channel leadership roles at global technology organizations.
Commenting on her appointment, Ilagan said: “Digital Transformation is picking up pace in the Philippines and creating opportunities across all sectors of the economy. Ilagan has undertaken executive leadership programs at Boston University School of Management and Harvard Business School, with the latter focused on Leading Change & Organizational Renewal. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in economics from Assumption College.
