Anticipating huge growth in the Philippines’ networked attached storage market, Synology, an IP surveillance and network equipment provider, has announced the availability of its newest products, Active Backup Suite and Service Replacement Service (SRS), for small- and medium-sized businesses.
Synology’s sales revenue in the ASEAN increased 30 percent in the first half of 2018, and the momentum is expected to continue in the future. Remarkably, Philippines has a great need of NAS because of the country’s impressive development, the market is witnessing an amazing growth of more than 50% this year which is the highest in the region. Given the positive feedback from the market, Synology is going to dedicate more resources in Philippines to raise brand awareness and looks for more collaboration with various segments.
“We design our solutions to enable our customers to run their businesses in the most efficient and secure way possible. ASEAN Summit, Midori Hotel, JetStar Pacific, and Holiday Inn are successful examples,” said Mike Chen, Marketing Director of Synology.
Improved hardware replacement service
The Synology Replacement Service (SRS) enables SMBs in the Philippines to maximize server availability and protect investments. Applicable to all current rackmount NAS servers, the service offers free two-way shipping for replacement products and collection of defective hardware as early as the next business day once the application is approved.
SRS provides timely support to reduce service downtime caused by unexpected hardware failure. Users can also check the application process online.
All-in-one data protection for servers, virtual machines & cloud workloads
Tthe Active Backup Suite—comprising the Active Backup for Business, Active Backup for G Suite and Office 365—protects scattered data in physical, virtual and cloud workloads.
The Active Backup for Business provides protection for various workloads from PCs, Windows and Linux servers, and virtual machines through one centralized console on a single Synology NAS. It supports incremental backup, global deduplication and versatile ways of restoring data. The integration with Synology Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) allows users to replicate a production environment for a temporary disaster site.
The Active Backup for G Suite allows businesses to control and protect corporate data stored on the G Suite by backing up and centralizing it to Synology NAS, while Active Backup for Office 365 provides an on-premise backup solution that protects corporate data created and stored on cloud devices.
