Honor, a smartphone e-brand under the Huawei Group, unveiled its flagship artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smartphone, Honor 10, in the Philippines.
Boasting of AI functionality, the Honor 10 is equipped with the AI 2.0 technology that is applied into the handset’s 24-megapixel (MP) and 16MP dual-lens rear AI camera, with f1.8 aperture, and 4k video recording. The 24MP front-facing camera, on the other hand, supports 3D face recognition and studio lighting effects with a range of lighting conditions.
The Honor 10 runs an Android OS version called EMUI8.1 which is based on Android Oreo 8.1. It is powered by Kirin 970 chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM storage for storing applications and files. It also comes with Honor Super Charge 5V/4.5V with 3,400mAh-capacity battery that can recharge 50% of power within 25 minutes.
For connectivity, the phone has dual SIM LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
The Honor 10’s design was created by the Paris Aesthetics Center, which combines colors with the 3D glass back and nano-scale optical coating. The device is available in two colors: phantom blue and midnight black. The phone’s screen is IPS LCD, measuring 5.84 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2280.
The handset also comes with a front-facing ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the glass panel.

Starting June 6, the Honor 10 will be available in Shopee for P23,990 through a flash sale. Interested consumers can pre-register for their orders both on Shopee and through participating stores.
The Honor 10 will be available on the following malls and outlets: SM Malls (SM City Clark, SM City Tarlac, SM City North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, SM Lipa, SM Cubao, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Calamba, SM Southmall, SM Megamall, SM Fairview, SM City Calamba; Robinson’s Malls (Ermita and Malolos); Festival Mall Alabang; Alabang Town Center; Market! Market!; and Trinoma.
Shopee will offer the first 100 buyers of the Honor 10 a free JBL headphone worth P2,990. Shopee users can until June 4, and the first 100 who register will receive a P1,000 off voucher on their Honor 10 purchase. For the listed participating stores, on the other hand, those who pre-register during the early-bird period will be able to avail of free JBL headphones.
