HP Philippines has introduced the HP Spectre x2, a new premium detachable 2-in-1 tablet with the power of a laptop.

Powered by 7th Generation Intel Core processors, the HP Spectre x2 is packed with 8GB of RAM which runs the latest Windows 10 applications, and is equipped with a 360GB solid-state storage space. The device also offers eight-hour battery life and boasts an HP Fast Charge technology which recharges battery from 0% to 50% within 30 minutes.

The latest addition to the Spectre series, HP Spectre x2 allows users to sketch or write on the screen using the Windows Ink, a software suite in Windows 10 which contains apps and features oriented towards pen computing. The device is bundled with an HP Active Pen, a writing and drawing tool, and sports a U-shaped stainless steel kickstand which can tilt back with the screen all the way to 165-degree to provide a stable surface for users to write and draw.

The HP Spectre x2 has a 13MP rear camera, along with a 5MP WDR wide-view front camera and an IR camera for Windows Hello biometric authentication. Apart from having a detachable magnetic keyboard, and a glass trackpad, the 2-in-1 also features a Corning Gorilla 4 12.3-inch touchscreen diagonal 3K2K display with 3,000 x 2,000-pixel resolution. Having 3:2 aspect ratio, the display is designed for better screen readability and visibility.

To handle both charging and external displays, HP Spectre x2 features two USB 3.1 Type-C connections. It also has a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bang & Olufsen speakers.
