Sporting a 24.2-megapixel (MP) sensor with the X series signature color reproduction technology, the Fujifilm X-A5 digital camera offers a host of features including a newly developed zoom lens, 4K movie recording, touch screen, and the Bluetooth pairing technology.

With 24.2MP APS-C sensor partnered with Fujinon lens, the X-A5 offers an image processing engine for image resolution, color reproduction performance and “skin tone” reproduction capability. It also comes with a standard 11 simulation modes to reproduce film-like color tones, and features Fog Remove and HDR Art to facilitate a live view of film simulations, allowing the choice of filter for use.

For selfies and groufies, X-A5 has a touch screen 180-degree tilting rear LCD screen which activates the Eye AF function that automatically snaps self-portraits. It also has a Portrait Enhancer Mode with three levels of skin tone enhancement to choose from.

The X-A5 offers a high-speed HD Video function and a 2.5mm microphone jack for better sound recording. The 4K Burst function, on the other hand, offers to shoot 15 frames per second in 4K image quality.

The X-A5 uses the Bluetooth pairing technology to transfer images and videos to paired smartphones or tablet devices using the ‘Camera Remote’ application.

Available in three colors (pink, brown and silver), the camera comes with a new kit lens, XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ, currently the smallest and lightest zoom lens. It is the first electric power zoom in the Fujinon Lens family with a minimum shooting distance of five centimeters from the lens surface.

Priced at P34,990, the X-A5 can be bought at all Fujifilm authorized dealers nationwide.
