Canon Marketing Philippines launched the EOS M100, the company’s newest mirror-less interchangeable-lens camera which is capable of capturing images with the speed and precision of a DSLR camera while facilitating the operability of a smartphone.
Designed to suit the lifestyle of millennials, the EOS M100 offers features that can take photography to the next level such as autofocus, control and its lightweight design.
Equipped with a Dual CMOS AF technology, the camera delivers image quality for a variety of scenes, including fast moving subjects and dimly-lit scenes. When shooting colorful textures or breathtaking backdrops, the device has DIGIC 7 image processor and 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that can capture details with better image clarity and reduced noise levels.
The camera lets users connect easily with its Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Photos and videos can be transferred seamlessly to a smartphone using Wi-Fi, and upload them directly on social media or through Canon Image Gateway. The Bluetooth low-energy technology can help users stay connected to their smart devices even when the camera is in Auto Power Off mode, and allows it to function as a remote control for shooting and playback.
The device is not just for taking photos, it can also create videos, or time-lapse movies with Touch AF that allows for seamless focusing and EF-M lenses that provide a variety of choices for creative expression. EOSM100 is compatible with Canon’s entire suite of EF, EF-S lenses via the Mount Adapter EF-EOS M.
For easy selfie, the EOS M100 sports an LCD screen that tilts up to 180-degree that allows users snap portraits from challenging angles. It also has a Self Portrait Mode that can create background blur, or smoothen skin tone.
Available in white, black, and gray, the EOS M100 camera, with built-in flash and touch screen display, weighs approximately 302 grams.
