Chevron Philippines, marketer of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, opened seven new Caltex stations in different parts of the Philippines over the past two months.
CPI increased its retail presence to match rising demand for fuel buoyed by the country’s growing economy, which grew 6.8 percent year-on-year in 2016 and is projected by the World Bank to continue on an upward trend this year and next.
The newly opened stations in Pansol, Laguna; National Highway, Makilala, North Cotabato; Cagayan Valley Road, Aparri; Pagbilao, Quezon Province; Aquiles-Zayco Road, Negros Occidental; Sulat-Taft Road, Eastern Samar; and Provincial Road, Tabuk City, Kalinga will make clean, safe and high-quality fuels more accessible to the rising number of motorists all over the country.
“Our nationwide efforts to expand retail services is a testament to the company’s commitment to bring premium, high-quality fuels, and services to the Filipino community. We are excited to help fuel the country’s economic growth as this provides more opportunities for everyone,” newly installed Chevron Philippines country chairman Louie Zhang said.
