The Cisco Spark Board looks like a big tablet computer and comes in 55” or 70” screen options. Each unit is powered with a 4K camera and 12-microphone array that utilizes VoiceTrack technology to locate and allow focus on the person who is speaking during video conferences. The design aims to cut the clutter within conference rooms, as the all-in-one configuration can replace video screens, whiteboards, phones, cameras, projectors, microphones, and eliminate the need for cables required to interconnect each of these.

PLDT Enterprise VP & Head Core Business Solutions, Jojo Gendrano stated the significance of the introduction of this technology to Philippine enterprises. “The emergence of smart devices coupled with the rise of Bring-Your-Own-Device policies, Enterprise Social Networking and the Internet of Things, levels of workplace interaction have profoundly elevated. The Cisco Spark Board brings a quantum leap to enterprise collaboration, increasing productivity and efficiency across all levels in the organization.”

“The importance of collaboration in the workplace today is more evident than ever, and PLDT recognizes the need for the right innovations to further improve this process,” added Jovy Hernandez, SVP & Head of PLDT Enterprise. “Through this new technology brought in partnership with Cisco, we are empowering our clients to promote easier and more productive collaborations within their businesses.”
