Sony Philippines unveiled the latest BRAVIA OLED 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) A1 line of televisions that makes use of 4K HDR content in combination with the company’s image processor and display device technologies.
Presented in 65” and 55” models, the BRAVIA OLED 4K HDR TV A1 series is the world’s first large screen TV that can emit sound from the screen itself.
It has the company’s new Acoustic Surface sound technology that turns the television’s screen into a speaker. The A1 series is designed so that the TV stand as well as conventional speakers that are usually located to the sides, virtually disappear. The TV is supported at the back by a subwoofer.
With over 8-million OLED’s self-illuminating pixels, the A1 series has black, authentic color, blur-less image; and a wide viewing angle to deliver a 4K HDR picture.
In addition, the A1 series supports the Dolby Vision, the HDR format from Dolby Laboratories. It is also powered by Android TV processor.
The BRAVIA OLED 4K HDR TV A1 series will be available in the local market starting July 22.
