Sony Philippines unveiled the Xperia XZ Premium, the world’s first smatphone with super slow motion video recording delivered by its 19-megapixel rear camera that has Motion Eye camera technology capable of recording in high definition at 960 frames per second (fps). A user of this phone can create videos and play them back four times slower than other smartphones.
The Xperia XZ Premium’s camera has a sensor which offers 19% larger pixels to capture light, and images in low-light conditions. The phone also has Predictive Capture that automatically starts buffering images when it detects motion even before clicking. The Xperia XZ Premium also has a 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range, 2160 x 3840-pixel) 5.5-inch display, the first smartphone with this feature.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that delivers a Gigabit experience, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is water-proof and dust-resistant as it is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back of the handset.
It has SRP of P45,490, and will be available on June 30. It comes in black and chrome. A third color, pink, will be available in the end of July. Pre-orders will be entertained from June 1 to June 18 at all Sony Centres and Sony Mobile Stores nationwide.
