Google has announced that the company’s “Google Apps for Work” will be renamed as “G Suite”.
In a statement, Google said that “we created Google Apps to help people everywhere work and innovate together, so that your organization can move faster and achieve more. Today, we’re introducing a new name that better reflects this mission: G Suite.”
Over the coming weeks, the company will roll out the new name and logo, which will appear in familiar places, including the Admin console, Help Centre and on the invoice.
The G Suite is still going to offer the same tools/solutions already being used, including Gmail, Docs, Drive and Calendar.
