Online shopping and selling portal Lazada Philippines is marking its 4th anniversary with a four-day Birthday Sale from March 15 to 18, where shoppers can avail of a range of deals of up to 90% across a wide selection of popular brands and products.
The upcoming sale will feature hourly flash deals, Php4 sale, jackpot games for additional discounts, Facebook and Instragram games where customers can have a chance to win a TV and smart phones, and a chance to win a trip to Dubai for two with every Cherry mobile purchase.
Brands including Samsung, Microsoft, Tosot, Unilever, Nestle, Belo, Starmobile, Cherry Mobile, Timex, Intel, and Unilab will participate and offer promotions during the four-day celebration.

More opportunities for SMEs
In his presentation, Inanc Balci, Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Philippines, claimed that the company provides more opportunities for SMEs in promoting and selling their products.
Balci said Lazada, which holds 85% of market shares in the Philippines, currently has over 1.7-million product lines and carries over 35,000 local and international brands which are sold by more than 7,000 merchants, where majority of which consists of SMEs.
Balci also mentioned that lazada.com.ph is the largest Web site based on the overall Web site rankings in the Philippines. Globally, lazada.com.ph ranks 14th.
With 2,000 employees and warehouses located in Metro Manila and Cebu, Lazada will continue to focus on increasing product assortment, expand logistics infrastructure and introduce payment solutions to make online selling more convenient for its customers. It will also encourage more entrepreneurs to sell online.
Upgrading warehousing capability
Lazada will upgrade its warehousing capability following the unveiling of the company’s new 30-square meter Fulfillment Center in Cabuyao, Laguna. To be completed by yearend, the center, which doubled the capacity of its current warehouse, showcases automated features for inventory, selection, parcel movement and dimensional weight measurement.
To enhance delivery footprint and reach, the company, through its in-house delivery arm Lazada Express, plans to modernize its Sorting Center and will open 20 hubs throughout the country. Furthermore, an express delivery option will also be launched in Metro areas for rush deliveries.
