COMELEC to hold Q&A session via Twitter on Jan. 30

Following the recently announced partnership between COMELEC and Twitter, COMELEC Chairperson Juan Andres Bautista has opened his official Twitter account at @ChairAndyBau (https://twitter.com/ChairAndyBau) and will be holding a Twitter-hosted Q&A on Saturday, January 30th at 1:30pm to commemorate the 100-day countdown before Voting Day.

 


The public is encouraged to join in on the discussion and ask their questions to COMELEC – ranging from campaign protocols and system improvements to election registration – via Twitter using the hashtag #AskCOMELEC. To enhance the level and quality of interaction during the Q&A, Bautista will also utilize Periscope, Twitter’s live video streaming app, to answer questions real-time through video format.

Submit your questions now via #AskCOMELEC on Twitter and follow @ChairAndyBau to see his first Tweet tomorrow as well as participate in the live conversations with the COMELEC Chairman.

The Twitter Q&A with the COMELEC Chairperson is part of Twitter’s partnership with COMELEC, geared towards empowering Filipino voters get live access to political information, interact with top election candidates, and to express their views about the election process via Tweets, Vines and Periscopes.
