Nexus Technologies Inc. helps train future Filipino IT workers

In its effort to help train future IT workers in the Philippines, Nexus Technologies Inc. gave training exercises on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at the Nexus head office to the students of Catmon Integrated School (Malabon).

In its effort to help train future IT workers in the Philippines, Nexus Technologies Inc. gave training exercises on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at the Nexus head office to the students of Catmon Integrated School (Malabon).

Nexus president Juan Chua (shown in the photo third from left) awarded an IT completion certificate to the students, joined by (also in the photo, from left) Catmon English teacher Jonathan Mababa; Alexandra Birk, partner sales lead, Microsoft Philippines; and Ma. Magdalena Lacsamana, education technical program specialist, World Vision Philippines.

Nexus also turned over three HP desktops pre-loaded with Microsoft Office Suite 2016 to the school so that the students will continue to hone their IT skills. Nexus partnered with World Vision for the effort, just as it celebrates its 20th anniversary in the local IT industry.
