Lenovo launched in the Philippines three new VIBE smartphones. According to Lenovo’s country manager in the Philippines, Dino Romano, the company’s new products – VIBE P1 and P1M, and VIBE S1 – allow users to “keep their vibe on.”
The VIBE P1 comes with a 5000mAh battery, one of the highest-capacity batteries in its class. As such, it has the ability to charge other phones in need of a battery boost. In addition to a physical power saver switch and the OTG (On-The-Go) Charging feature, the VIBE P1 also has a 24W quick charge function. Other features of P1 include: a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, Wi-Fi Boost that provides 5G Wi-Fi support, embedded fingerprint scanner on the home button, sealed sound chamber for improved resonance and better bass, and a 13MP rear camera with fast-focus PDAF technology and a 5MP selfie camera with multiple shooting modes. P1 comes in a metal-and-glass design, accentuated by an aluminum frame (measuring 4mm along the sides), and a curved rear metallic cover.
The VIBE P1m is the “cheaper” version (the “mini”, if you will) of P1. Features include: 4000mAh battery with a quick charge function, splash-proof capability via a nano-coating technology, MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor, and a 5-inch HD screen.
The VIBE P1 is available in Platinum and Graphite Grey. The P1m is available in Onyx Black and Pearl White.

Meanwhile, the Lenovo VIBE S1 has “dual selfie” cameras – that it, there are two cameras in front, with the 8MP primary front camera taking a sharper photo, while the 2MP secondary front camera analyzing depth of field information to replicate human binocular vision. After capturing a selfie using the dual front camera, users can then edit accordingly – e.g. functions such as “Blur” allow refocusing anywhere on the selfie for up to three focal planes. The front camera also has a BSI sensor that improves the clarity and quality of after-dark selfies. At the back, S1 has a 13MP camera.
Other S1 features include: 64-bit MediaTek Octa-Core processor, 3GB of RAM, 160GB of storage (and up to 128GB of microSD external storage support), 5.0” Full HD display, and 4G LTE connectivity speeds. S1 – which measures 7.8mm (profile) and weighs only 132g – is available in white and gold.
The VIBE P1 is priced at P14,999 and the VIBE P1m is priced at P7,999. The Lenovo VIBE S1 sells for P15,999.
