Epson announced its intention to conquer the laser printer segment with its alternative monochrome inktank system printer, the M-Series.
For P565 per bottle, the Epson M-Series has an ultra-high yield of 6,000 pages – 12x cheaper than laser printers. It has a print speed of up to 34ppm (15ipm), similar to laser print-outs (the dye-based ink of the Epson M-Series produces water-resistant and fade-resistant prints), and is energy efficient (lower energy consumption than conventional laser printers).
“The M-Series is Epson’s superior alternative to the laser printer. It offers laser quality prints, but it’s faster and far more economical,” said Epson Philippines inkjet product manager Russer Cabrera.
Epson is a global technology company with products ranging from inkjet printers, printing systems and 3LCD projectors to industrial robots, smart glasses and sensing systems.
