Panasonic Philippines launched the Panasonic Stingray Envo JS-960, a flexible Point of Sale (POS) system.
The Panasonic Stingray Envo JS-960 is built with a VESA mount and can therefore be installed virtually anywhere. With its modular status, it can be installed upright on the counter, mounted on a wall, or semi-obscured for a low profile, making it ideal for players in the quick service restaurants (QSR) and food service industry.
When installed upright on a counter, another option is to install a back monitor. This way, it will be easier for customers to verify their orders. If mounted on a wall, customers can enter their orders before lining up, making orders serviced faster. This can also be another installation option for crews on the drive-thru stand to save space. The low-profile design, meanwhile, allows for a cleaner look for QSRs and more space to service orders.
JS-960 is water-resistant, and is 25% smaller than the previous product, thus consuming less space. The Panasonic POS is also energy-efficient because of LED-backlighting and only consumes approximately 44 watts for 240V. Similarly, JS-960 is fanless, thus preventing foreign objects inside the POS from somehow finding their way into food.
