Cherry Mobile has unveiled three new budget-friendly LTE premium smartphones in its Flare series, namely Flare 4, Flare S4, and Flare S4 Plus.
These three new smartphones have similarities in their specifications. Powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, the trio runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has 16GB of internal storage for storing photos and other applications. These phones support 4G LTE connectivity, have dual micro SIM slots, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0 capability.
Both Flare 4 and Flare S4 have 2GB of memory and sport a 5-inch high-definition IPS display with 1280 x 720-resolution. For a better picture taking, these phones have 13MP and 5MP rear and front camera, together with G, Light and Proximity sensors. Flare 4 uses a battery with 2,100 mAh capacity while Flare S4 is energized by a 2,200 mAh battery. The internal storage of these models is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
Both priced at Php4,999, Flare 4 is available in pink, black, white and gold while customers can choose from either white gold, white silver, black silver and black black for Flare S4.
Flare S4 Plus
Flare S4 Plus, on the other hand, comes with an upgraded 3GB of RAM intended for multitasking and usage, and is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery capacity. For an improved graphic and image delivery, the device has a 5.5-inch full high-definition OGS screen with a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. Its internal storage can be further expanded to 64GB through a microSD card.
Aside from having a 16MP BSI and 8MP BSI rear and front camera with Light and Proximity sensors and Accelerometer, Flare S4 Plus also boosts with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS navigation. For better connectivity, the device is LTE-ready via a micro SIM or Hybrid Nano SIM microSD card.
Flare S4 Plus, which is priced at Php7,999, comes in white, black, gold or gray colors.
To be sold at Cherry Mobile concept stores and kiosks nationwide, and at Lazada, Flare 4 will be out in the market starting next week while Flare S4 and Flare S4 Plus will be available towards the end of October.
Present in the launching was Anne Curtis who was announced as the celebrity endorser of Cherry Mobile Flare series.
