Gathering hundreds of AEC design professionals, 3D design solutions provider, Autodesk, held its AEC Day 2015 and once again demonstrated its commitment to arming practitioners with the latest knowledge on the cutting-edge 3D design tools for the building and construction industry.
The successful day-long event in Manila also featured presentations and workshops by industry experts from across the ASEAN region. This facilitated the exchange of knowledge and best practices about how Building Information Modeling (BIM) can turn information into insight and deliver business value at every step in the process.
“Professionals in the AEC industries are being asked to do more with less revenue, against the backdrop of a shrinking talent pool. Powerful BIM tools connected to the cloud will continue to drive change across industries in 2015, and we’re collaborating with our customers and partners to help them increase cost efficiencies, inspire new talent, reshape how we design and construct and make our built environment more sustainable, resilient and economically vital,” says Autodesk Philippines Country Manager, Teddy D. Tiu.
Among the local and international speakers at the event were Engr. Edmon Assis of ARUP (London), Khun Athasit of Sino-Thai (Thailand), Ed Calma of Lor Calma and Partners (Philippines).
