With a postpaid subscriber base that grew 16% year-on-year in 2014, and 18% in the first quarter of 2015, Sun is confident that it can maintain the company’s outstanding performance with new plans aimed at expanding its postpaid market share.
“We are very confident that Sun will sustain this momentum of double-digit growth and outpace its direct competitor as we roll out highly competitive products that appeal to the wise spender in every Filipino. Sun’s strategy has always been simple: empower Filipinos with a much better choice for their mobile services,” said Joel Lumanlan, Vice President for Marketing – Postpaid at Sun.
With the “Choose Better” campaign launched early this week, Sun aims to encourage mobile users to rethink their options and choose the offers that give the best value in the market.
“What’s important in the campaign is to provide customers with the best value offers in the market,” said Lumanlan. “Choose better, spend wiser.”
The campaign is exerting efforts to push in the market the Sun Best Value Plan 450, an entry-level postpaid plan which comes with a free Android phone plus a monthly pack of unlimited Sun calls and texts; 20 hours of mobile surfing; free Facebook; and 250 texts to other networks.
For broadband users, Sun is offering Non Stop Surf Plan 450 which provides non-stop surfing; additional 1GB data for data streaming; and another 1GB music streaming on the Spinnr app.
According to Lumanlan, Sun is also improving its offers for other plans. The company is boosting its prepaid offers for Super Loaded Call & Text Unlimited 100, which features unlimited calls to Sun, Smart and Talk ‘N Text; unlimited texts to all networks; and 100MB data which are now valid for seven days.
The prepaid broadband pack Non Stop Surf 25 is now enhanced, with 50MB data for light online activities; 25MB data allowance for heavy online activities; and 300MB worth of content Spinnr which is valid for one day.
