NEC Philippines has launched its latest retail point-of-sale (POS) terminal, the high performance TWINPOS G5 52V1 retail terminal that will enhance retail operations across retail stores in Philippines.
The new TWINPOS G5 52V1 performs 77% better than the current G5 model, and is driven by the powerful Intel Core i3 processor for heavy application use. The competitively priced system is compact with a 15-inch touchscreen, weighing at only 7kg.
The easy-to-clean system is designed for minimal maintenance, with hard-disk and components easily accessible for repairs and replacements which will help reduce time and costs in maintenance and servicing. The robust system design provides environmental durability that can support the needs of multiple retail environments.
The systems will be distributed nationwide by authorized distributors, Ardent Networks, Grandtech International Enterprise Corporation and Subicworx Inc. within Philippines to small, medium and large enterprises in retail, fashion, F&B and convenience stores. New retail systems will come with 3 years warranty as part of NEC’s commitment to quality, with full support service provided nationwide.
“Our leading technology retail solutions will help the growing retail businesses here enhance their services to customers. With a reasonable investment, smaller retailers can easily set up the system. The high performance G5 52V1 will enable retailers to better manage their sales, to help them focus on their core business. With over 40 years of delivering retail solutions globally, NEC has successfully helped small to leading retailers transform and streamline their business,” said Agnes A. Gervacio, President, NEC Philippines.
NEC has successfully implemented retail point-of-sales solutions for convenience stores and retail chain stores within Asia Pacific, with leading retailers 7-11 and Alfamart as some of their customers. As part of its commitment to growing the retail business in Asia, NEC established a Retail Business Service Centre supporting Asia Pacific in 2013.
