To promote e-commerce activity, online fashion store ZALORA Philippines has introduced and opened what it calls as the country’s first “digital pop-up store” at the 5th Floor of the Edsa Shangri-la Mall.
The store, open from June to September 2015, is part of the company’s omnichannel approach to reach new customers.
“The ZALORA Pop-Up Store marks another milestone in our company’s young history. Since we started operations in 2012, we’ve continued to look for innovative ways to grow e-commerce in the Philippines and through this initiative, we hope to widen our customer reach, educate them on the benefits of online shopping and dress them in the latest fashion trends, in the quickest and most convenient way possible,” said Paulo Campos, co-founder and CEO of ZALORA Philippines.
The ZALORA Pop-Up Store, which occupies 235 square meters, is filled with clothing and accessories from its collection of international and local brands. Aside from giving access to their catalogue which is similar to what is find online, customers can now see and touch the goods they want before making a purchase.
At the store, transactions are done online using tablets, phones and laptops that are displayed inside. Items that were already paid will be delivered right to the customers’ doorstep.
“With the ZALORA Pop-Up Store, we are now bringing our products closer to our customers while still keeping the convenience of online shopping,” said Campos.
ZALORA also partnered with Globe Telecom to provide customers access to its online shopping portal that contains 65,000 products, using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Under the partnership, Mobile and Tattoo postpaid customers can access ZALORA and other e-commerce sites for only P299 a month by availing the Shopping Bundle.
