The American Chamber Foundation Philippines, the socio-civic arm of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, has deployed NetSuite’s cloud solution for ERP and customer relationship management (CRM) to improve its effectiveness in financial management, fundraising and member engagement.
By implementing NetSuite to replace Sage 300 ERP (formerly Sage ERP Accpac) and multiple Excel spreadsheets, the nonprofit foundation has dramatically increased its efficiency and productivity. As a result, AmCham Foundation Philippines is able to channel more time and energy into its core mission of promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) among its more than 600 member companies, including Procter & Gamble, Ford Motor Co., UPS and NetSuite.
AmCham Foundation Philippines received the NetSuite solution as a software grant from the NetSuite.org corporate citizenship program, which offers free and discounted subscriptions to qualified nonprofits and social enterprises.
Since its founding in 2008, the NetSuite.org corporate citizenship program has empowered more than 500 nonprofits and social enterprises with tools to amplify their impact in making the world a better place.
SuiteVolunteers, a signature NetSuite.org program that offers pro bono volunteer services from NetSuite employees to organizations receiving software donations, worked with the AmCham Foundation Philippines on implementing the NetSuite solution in a two-phase approach.
Initial deployment of NetSuite CRM technology in 2014 was followed by the implementation of NetSuite Financials/ERP system in early 2015, with optimization and training provided by the SuiteVolunteers team.

It makes managing financials much faster, easier and more accurate and made it much easier for us to get in touch with members and potential donors because all the information is in a single database that’s easy to use.”

With its previous environment, AmCham Foundation Philippines experienced time-consuming manual data consolidation and was struggling to achieve the real-time data environment necessary to drive its fundraising efforts for a variety of educational, health, disaster relief, environmental and other socio-economic programs.

NetSuite’s CRM capabilities provide AmCham Foundation Philippines with a unified record of all contact data interactions with representatives of more than 600 member companies.
The organization uses NetSuite’s built-in email capabilities to communicate with members and prospective donors through newsletters and communications on program successes, upcoming events and fund-raising opportunities. The nonprofit also uses NetSuite to run about 10 campaigns a year.
The nonprofit is streamlining its accounting processes and eliminating manual data consolidation with NetSuite, leading to faster, more efficient and more reliable processes that fully meet auditing standards.
Real-time reporting and insights
Management and staff can run reports on demand in NetSuite to track budget versus actuals on various projects, identify trends in fund-raising programs and costs, and to support more informed decision making.
NetSuite’s ease of use and intuitive interface have helped staff quickly take advantage of the solution’s rich capabilities, so that time once spent collecting and manipulating data in Sage and Excel is now dedicated to more value-added activities.
