Delivering on its commitment to bringing devices to as many people and price points as possible, Microsoft Corp. recently announced the Microsoft Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 smartphones, the most affordable Lumia devices to date.
Based on Windows Phone 8.1, the Lumia 435 is the first 400 series Lumia and the most affordable Lumia yet. It has a 2-megapixel main camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of integrated storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB with a microSD card.
Lumia 532 is a powerful quad-core smartphone that builds on the success of the Lumia 530. It has a 5-megapixel main camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal mass memory that can be expanded up to 128GB with a MicroSD.
Buyers of either of the devices will get Windows Phone 8.1, Office apps Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote as well as Outlook for email. The new Lumias also have Skype, Here maps and up to 30GB of included cloud storage on OneDrive.

Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 will begin rolling out to key markets in Europe, APAC and IMEA in February. Both devices will be available in bright green, bright orange, white and black, and will be available in single- and dual-SIM variants, with the latter SIM setup also coming equipped with Smart Dual SIM to easily manage calls and texts to either number in use.
Pricing will vary by market and operator, but is estimated to be around 69 euros (Php3,542) before taxes and subsidies for Lumia 435 and around 79 euros (Php4,000) before taxes and subsidies for Lumia 532.
