Lenovo introduces a new approach in the All-in-One environment with the launch of ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One 23, the world’s first modular All-in-One (AIO) business desktop; and the stylish, slim and performance-packed AIO, ThinkCentre E63z.
Departing from the traditional desktop design, the Windows 8.1-based Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One 23 is being offered in the form of a unique modular All-in-One business desktop suited to offices with limited space.
The ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One 23 comes in small package but big in performance. It provides customers the flexibility to “mix and match” a 23-inch AIO display as it is compatible with all current generation Tiny PCs, allowing for separate refresh cycles of a traditional lower setup while offering space saving and better cable management capabilities of an AIO PC. It has a single lock module and it doesn’t need a Kensington lock.
Equipped with Intel Quad Core i3 processor, this modular AIO desktop is suitable for IT managers for them to have an easy deployment, replacement, and upgrade of computers. Aside from the 23-inch FHD monitor, it also offers front-access USB 3.0 audio ports, and optional optical disc drive (ODD), and an ergonomic stand that allows for tilt and height adjustments.
The Tiny-in-One 23 is powered by a detachable ThinkCentre Tiny PC that seamlessly locks into the back of the monitor within seconds through a simple tool-less setup process. This configuration provides users with a clean-desk computing, free from cable clutter and allows them to configure their AIO with the option to choose from a multitude of different chipsets and CPUs based on their needs.
An energy-efficient device, the Tiny-in-One 23 has a Smart USB protection for maximum security. This means that ports will still work for the keyboard and mouse but files cannot be copied off the PC to a USB storage drive. It also incorporates hybrid hard drive (standard HDD) which takes 2.31 minutes to boot up for memory upgrade.
Stylish and slim at 37.5mm thick, the Windows 8.1-based ThinkCentre E63z AIO desktop is designed to save space and power, and include an interface for easy VESA-mounting. It comes with a form factor that measures 19.5-inch WLED HD (1366 x 768-resolution) with 10-point multitouch screen. It also offers stereo speakers as well as an integrated webcam and support for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
Aside from the Smart USB protection that prevents data theft and reduces network risks of unauthorized use of storage devices, Lenovo has built security layers into the ThinkCentreE63z such as the USB port disablement and Kensington slot for physical security.
Powered by Intel Quad Core i3, the AIO desktop packs other features such as support for an HDMI out port, card reader, and a Rapid Charge USB port not available in the previous model.
Packaged with an operating system and a processor, ThinkCentre Tiny All-in-One 23 monitor and ThinkCentre E63z will be available at all Lenovo channel resellers this month, at prices starting at P36,000 and P34,000, respectively. Onsite warranties ranged from three years for AIO 23 to one year for E63z.
