Xiaomi has fortified its long-term strategy for the Philippines with the opening of its first Mi Exclusive Service Center in the country.
Designed to provide world-class services to users of Mi smartphones and accessories, the center is located at the second floor of the One Kennedy Place, Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan City, and is the latest addition to Xiaomi’s network of seven service centers and over 50 drop-off points.
Aside from the San Juan center, other Mi service centers in the Philippines are located in Makati City, Quezon City, Lipa City, Cebu City, Davao City, and Zamboanga City.
The Mi Exclusive Service Center offers two-hour repairs whenever possible for smartphones and accessories covered by warranty.
“We are ready with parts of Mi products in stock as well as highly-trained staff ready to assist. Our goal is for customers to have their products repaired within two hours,” said Steve Vickers, Xiaomi’s General Manager for Southeast Asia. “Depending on the situation, we can also have their devices replaced.”
According to Vickers, the exclusive service center currently has four service staff. The number of staff will be increased if the demand rises. The center opens at 10AM up to 7PM, from Mondays to Saturdays.
Aside from offering repairs, the Mi Exclusive Center is also a venue for people to learn more about Xiaomi and experience Mi products in person. It showcases Mi products, Mi Bunnies as well as artwork created by Mi fans. Accessories like cases, covers, anti-glare, screen protector clear, etc. are on display in the center for customers to see and choose from.
Vickers said that Mi service centers have presence in other countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and will be launched early next year in Thailand and Vietnam.
