“We are honored that we are being recognized for our efforts in promoting cloud services,” said ePLDT COO Nerisse Ramos.

“We have been pushing Cloud Technology to the local enterprise market and we have seen the increased interest and take up of cloud services due to the benefits it brings to company operations. Microsoft Office 365 is one of the cloud solutions that promise to deliver real benefits to enterprise customers which go beyond just email on the cloud. Our close partnership with Microsoft has allowed us to capitalize on this opportunity and we are strong in our resolve to ensure that cloud adoption in the Philippines further increases,” said PLDT FVP and head of PLDT ALPHA Enterprise Jovy Hernandez.

With ePLDT becoming an official managed reseller of Microsoft this year, PLDT ALPHA Enterprise and ePLDT have marketed cloud solutions to the local enterprise market as a means for office productivity and operations, saving costs as expensive software licenses become more affordable depending on how much it is used making it more flexible and scalable.

Since offering the PLDT Cloud, the group has closed several deals that integrate Microsoft Cloud-based services to their clients’ business operations including notable establishments in the manufacturing, retail, food and beverage industries.
