Visa has rolled out a program that offers exclusive perks and freebies to its cardholders.
Under the Visa Entertainment Dining program, cardholders can avail of exclusive deals ranging from free appetizers, meals, and discounts from their favorite restaurants to complimentary drinks from the hottest bars and clubs. And by presenting their Visa cards, they also get priority seating and free entrance.
“We are seeing a growing trend of young Filipino professionals who enjoy dining out with their friends and family. The Visa Entertainment Dining program is Visa’s way to provide an exclusive dining experience that caters to this highly social lifestyle,” said Iain Jamieson, Visa Country Manager for the Philippines and Guam.
The program currently focuses on merchants located in Metro Manila and gives out discounts on reservations. Foreigners who are holders of Visa cards can also avail of the benefits when they come to the Philippines.
All Visa cardholders, whether Visa Credit, Debit or Prepaid, are entitled to these benefits starting March 15 when they dine in some of the biggest bars and restaurants in Metro Manila, including Magosaburo, La Girolle, Poppins UCC, Kitchitora, SF Bistro, URBN, Hyve, Draft and TIME.
Visa Entertainment also provides cardholders exclusive access to the latest theater performances, concerts, movies and dining promotions in the metropolis. A full list of offerings is available at http://www.visa.com.ph/entertainment.
According to the company, some of the offerings will end in May this year but will be offered again. Besides, the number of participating outlets will reach over a hundred in the next three months. Aside from restaurants and bars, they might consider including coffee shops on the list of participating merchants. They are also looking at offering a 20% discount on food and beverage bill.
Currently, there are 7.5 million Filipinos who are Visa cardholders and can enjoy the benefits of the Visa Entertainment Dining platform.
