Infor, a provider of business application software, has ramped up its marketing machine in an effort to continue its double-digit growth in ASEAN over the next three years.
At the Manila leg of the Infor on the Road (IOTR) SEA tour, Helen Masters, Vice President of Infor ASEAN, revealed that Infor Philippines plays a key role in helping achieve Infor’s long-term global growth. “With nearly 950 employees based here and 260 customers, we remain firm in our commitment to providing technology that is beautiful, easy-to-use, and designed to speed performance,” said Masters.
“The electronics, manufacturing, business process outsourcing, F&B and fashion businesses are expanding rapidly in the Philippines. Companies are increasingly looking for better insight into internal operations and costs as well as the foresight to enable better planning,” said Masters.
To achieve double-digit growth over the next three years, Masters said they will have to understand the three-year growth plan of clients; understand where their customers grow; leverage the innovations that they have and match these with the requirements of their customers.
Aside from helping businessmen on how they can take their businesses to the next level of competitiveness through its latest software breakthroughs, Infor also assists them to achieve financial consolidation and reporting objectives and obtain CAS (Computer Accounting System) compliance as part of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) tax regulation.
Masters said that Infor Philippines, established in 1998, is one of the fastest growing ERP companies with more than 260 customer sites. Some of its customers include Wilcon Builders, General Milling Corporation, and Cargohaus. It has 24 new IPN partners (year-to-date) in 2014 and its new partners include Global Procure-IT, IOM Philippines, 3M Works, and Clerysys Philippines, Inc.
Globally, Infor, with 12,700 employees, is a provider of business applications to more than 70,000 customers in 200 countries and territories. Having a total of 1,745 partners and 153 direct offices in 41 countries, the company’s revenues reached $2.8 billion, 10% of which came from APAC. Being a fast growing global ERP provider, Infor has 3,400 new customers and 1,250 go-lives in 2013 and 3 million cloud subscribers.
According to Masters, Infor is having huge innovations. In 2013, more than $350 million were spent in research and development and 300 new products were added to its product lines. The company hired nearly 1,000 new developers in the last 24 months.
