ASUS has introduced the new Fonepad 7 Dual SIM (ME175CG) and Fonepad Note 6 (ME560CG) to the local market. The No.2 Android tablet brand also showcases new devices under the MeMO Pad and Transformer Pad series.
The Fonepad 7 is a seven-inch phablet with built-in 3G connectivity and Dual SIM phone functionality that delivers value for a mobile device. Fonepad 7 features an HD IPS display for a sharp, vivid picture, and a high-performance Intel Atom Z2520 1.2GHz processor to ensure a responsive and smooth experience. Its 3G connectivity further enhances performance and makes web browsing, social networking, and video calls fast and fluid.
ASUS Philippines also offers Fonepad 7 Dual SIM buyers with added value. Fonepad 7 comes with a free Smart Bro SIM card with free 50 MB per month for three months so users can get connected easily. 50 MB a month is already equivalent to 2,438 emails, 384 IMs with photo attachments, 61 tweets, 57 Facebook status updates, 13 songs, and five YouTube videos.
Each unit comes with free Trend Micro Mobile Security, good for six months. With this smart service, users are protected from mobile threats like malicious Android apps that steal user information or cost them unwanted charges. In addition, Trend Micro Mobile security also filters dangerous websites, protects user privacy on Facebook, and provides parental controls as well as personal data backup.
Fonepad 7 Dual SIM owners can also enjoy lost device protection, where they can use a web portal to connect to the lost device. They can find its location, lock it, sound an alarm, or even erase data wherever they are.
Part 3G smartphone, part tablet, ASUS Fonepad Note 6 comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor and 1920 x 1080 Full HD Super IPS+ display. With a display brightness of 380 nits, ASUS Fonepad Note 6 can be used outdoors in bright sunshine, while front-facing stereo speakers with ASUS SonicMaster technology ensure high-quality high-definition audio. ASUS Fonepad Note 6 also includes a stylus for quick and accurate handwritten input with optimized software and user interface for a fluid writing experience.
