eScan, an antivirus and content security solution provider, has announced the opening of eScan Philippines as a step-ahead to strengthen its business in the country.

eScan, an antivirus and content security solution provider, has announced the opening of eScan Philippines as a step-ahead to strengthen its business in the Philippines. eScan opened its Philippines office with an aim to ensure benefit of local distribution of eScan range of products and support to the channels partners and customers, thus enhancing its position in the Philippines market.

This move is also to help enhance the brand’s reach and market share by closely working on government deals with channel partners. eScan Philippines also looks forward to work with the PC, laptop, mobile and tablet manufacturers for bundling the OEM licenses wherever required. Moreover, eScan also plans to customize the software as per the needs of its clients.

“In accordance to our global expansion strategy, Philippines is our major focused country. We
are excited with the opening of eScan Philippines. Its priority will be to continue delivering eScan range of security solutions to help protect IT users across the region. eScan PH will also focus on further strengthening its robust distribution and channel model,” senior vice president – global sales and marketing, eScan, Sunil Kripalani, said.

Talking about eScan Philippines, country manager – Oceania & Philippines, eScan, Shailesh Jain said, “Looking at the current scenario of cyber security landscape, IT security is one of the major concerns in the Philippines. The Philippines government is also looking forward to have Cyber Law implemented in the region. Hence, with the opening of eScan PH, we are here to ensure a secured computing environment to IT users across the region. In context to our further expansion plans in the Philippines, the opening of eScan PH will surely enhance the availability of eScan range of products and strengthen our position in the market.”

Jain added that this step-ahead will lead eScan access to all the major government projects as the brand will have its enhanced local presence. Moreover, the security solution vendor is looking forward to have OEM tie-ups with mobile manufacturers, hardware manufacturers, etc. eScan also plans to penetrate in the retail space. With their senior technical team being deputed in the Philippines, eScan will also provide direct support to the customers and conduct POCs for all huge enterprise clients and government projects.

As for Richard Padilla, GM of eScan Philippines, “with the growing number of IT security threats, Philippines is no exception when it comes to targeted attacks. With eScan Philippines, eScan can further enhance its local support to our customers here in the Philippines. We aim to strengthen partnerships with our distributors and resellers, especially in the enterprise, government and educational verticals.”

eScan Philippines is already looking to increase its market share and to build strong business relationship with its partners by widening its local presence, thus providing a more effective network security solution for Philippines customers.
