LG’s Nexus 5, the first-ever smartphone running on Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat, is now exclusively available from Smart Communications.
Supporting 4G/LTE networks, the new supersized phone features a 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
The Nexus 5 comes with a 2300mAH battery, a boost from the Nexus 4’s 2100mAH but falls short of the 3000mAh power pack on LG’s G2 phone.
The Nexus 5 has placed a new emphasis on photography, with optical image stabilization and a new HDR+ mode that will capture a rapid burst of photos and combine them to create one single best shot.
The Nexus 5 is available from Smart under various All-In plans but it will come free at Unli Surf Plan 1500. Unli Surf Plan 1500 offers unlimited LTE surfing, 120 all-network texts and 60 minutes of calls every month under a 30-month lock-in period. The handset will also be available on prepaid for Php22,500.
