Dell has launched in the Philippines three Windows 8-powered computers belonging to the Inspiron family. The new products are the ultraportable Inspiron 11 3000 series; the thinnest and strongest Inspiron 14 7000 series; and Inspiron 23, the world’s thinnest 23-inch All-in-One PC.
The products are powered by Fourth Generation Haswell (Intel) Core processors which are responsible for their seamless visuals, enhanced security and longer battery life. These processors have a built-in suite of sleek visual enhancements that generates amazing graphics, and a built-in hardware- and software-based security features that let users quickly lock down lost or stolen laptop remotely.
Comparing the new Intel core processors with the First Generation core processors, Wowie Wong, Market Development Manager of Intel Philippines said, “In terms of performance, the 4th Gen Haswell core processor is 35% faster than the 1st Gen processor. In terms of graphics, its 13 times faster than 1st Gen, and in terms of battery life, the 4th Gen is 2.5 times longer than what the 1st Gen had.”
The computers are now available in the market. The suggested retail price (SRP) for Inspiron 23 is P69,990; Inspiron 14 sells at P48,990; while Inspiron 11 is priced at P24,990.

Meanwhile, Dell Philippines’ Brand Manager Marvin Trevor Gamalinda has announced that the company’s On-Site Service is now ready to serve the technical needs of Dell customers nationwide. If ever there is a need to call, all they have to do is dial Dell On-Site Service number 1 800 1601 0062 or their local hotline number – (+632) 663 2000. Technical support is on duty from Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM. The call is free of charge using your PLDT landline. Dell will come to your rescue (response time) in one to two business days.
The service offered by Dell is available for Windows 8 models only though. Customers must have the service tag number and purchase invoice.
