HTC recently unveiled the Butterfly S smartphone which packs more battery life and a more powerful processor.
Underneath the Butterfly s’ 1080p 5-inch screen is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.9 GHz quad-core processor, and a longer-lasting 3,200 mAH battery, which gives you more than 24 hours of talk time on 3G, more than 3 days of continuous music playback, or 659 hours on standby.
The new smartphone runs Android Jelly Bean, and is fitted with HTC’s new “4-ultrapixel” camera that was designed to capture sharper images than rival camera phones. The camera captures 300% more light than most 13-megapixel cameras. The camera also features HTC Zoe and Smart Flash.
The HTC Smart Flash automatically senses the distance between the camera and the object, varying the flash levels from subtle to bright; while the HTC Zoe shoots high-res photos in 3-second snippets Not only that, its 1080p Full HD video recording has slow motion that can be played back in various speeds.
With the company’s BlinkFeed homescreen, the Butterfly s brings news, video and pictures through a content feed service.
Butterfly S’ sleek, high-gloss finish comes in Fervour Red, Metallic Grey and Glamour White. The phone also features a scratch-resistant, 5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 that integrates with its Super LCD 3 display and 440 pixels-per-inch (ppi) resolution.
The HTC Butterfly S also boasts a HTC BoomSound dual front-facing speakers with built-in amplifiers.
