Skoolbo 2.0 has been released.
With more than 20 million questions already answered by users from all over the world, Skoolbo is the world’s largest educational game. Skoolbo is designed to engage four to 10-year-olds in mastering essential reading and mathematics skills.
Skoolbo is a team of educators and developers committed to creating innovative and accessible educational games for both developed and developing countries. The company believes that technology can drastically improve learning outcomes for children by recognizing and harnessing the way children learn.
Skoolbo’s eLearning programs focus on improving foundation literacy and numeracy skills. Skoolbo Core Skills is the world’s largest educational game to help children master essential reading and mathematics skills and best of all, it is free.
Skoolbo 2.0 includes a browser version for students to play on the web and the ability for parents and teachers to set curriculum. Skoolbo is also available in iOS, Android, Win8, PC and Mac.
Some of the enhancements include: offline play with automatic syncing of results when online; a simplified administration process where student accounts are created directly on the student app, while parents and teacher can coordinate on the student app; contents section where children can select their own curriculum and view results; graduation ceremonies when each skill is mastered; and additional curriculum in both literacy and numeracy – more than 10,000 extra questions.
Skoolbo2.0 also allows us to release the following over the next few weeks: an HTML5 web browser version; teachers and parents will have the ability to set curriculum for their children; and parents will be able to play with their children via a parent app.
