Leveraging on Sun Cellular’s communications infrastructure, Sun Business, the former’s corporate solutions arm, has introduced 3G services that promise to help businesses achieve operational efficiency.
The new services are the Message Cast and M2M Data Plans.
Message Cast is an Internet-based text broadcast service which allows businesses to relay messages to a pool of external and internal contacts in just a single send. “Our clients would use the Message Cast solution to send their product updates and promo announcements to their customers, and even for their internal communications to their own employees and staff,” says Tina Mariano, concurrent Group Head for Sun Business and Smart Global Access.
Mariano adds that Message Cast can operate seamlessly over-the-air through an active Internet connection so their clients are spared from the need for additional space and equipment, plus from the grueling task of manually sending texts to multiple recipients.
Meanwhile, the M2M Data Plans enable wireless communication and data transfer between systems and devices.
“This 3G-based solution is ideal for retail businesses which employ Point of Sale (POS) devices in their operations. On top of being able to transfer data through the Internet, we also offer M2M Data Plan variants with the unlimited text services which Sun has been known for,” shares Mariano.
Mariano also disclosed that they are developing what she called the most sought after business solutions, Mobile Ticketing, to serve the travel industry for its online ticketing.
Mariano noted that Sun Business has been actively synergizing with the sister companies of Sun Cellular in the PLDT Group, in terms of building a robust network support and reaching out to a pool of viable clientele.
Sun Business also presented various services which have been aligned to the best-value rates of Sun Cellular, highlighting the importance of employing a reliable and cost-efficient communications provider to support the daily operations of every business.
